Welcome, and thank you for stopping by! If you wish, you can check out my books, blurbs and excerpts on the “Books” page, see what’s up and coming in the “News” page, or if you’re interested in knowing a bit more about me, stop by the “Biography” page.

If you’re interested in hearing about breaking news or upcoming releases, see the sidebar for the place to subscribe.

I welcome your comments, and if you’d like to reach me, there’s a page where you can e-mail me (see menu bar above), or there’s also an e-mail form on the sidebar.

The kindest, most generous thing you can do for an author whose work you like is to tell your friends! (And write a review!) Thank you!

You can also find me at Minnesota Authors

                                                     Happy reading!

SUMMER FUN!

There’s a scavenger hunt going on at Night Owl Reviews (click for link). You find words in the blurbs of books, gather the info and win prizes! The grand prize is $250, and there are 100 or so gift cards to win as well!

Writing news: THE ENTIRE NOVELS OF LOCH MOIGH (click for link) are on sale for your Kindle during the month of June! $1.99 per book for hours of reading pleasure! And, in case you happen to be in the UK, TRUE TO THE HIGHLANDER is on sale at amazon.co.uk all month for a measly pound!

Speaking of TRUE TO THE HIGHLANDER, it’s being translated into Japanese. Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy! And, though I did not win a Golden Quill, TRUE TO THE HIGHLANDER was the runner up for first place. You win some, and some you don’t. Ah, well. It’s also up for a National Readers’ Choice award, and THE HIGHLANDER’S BARGAIN is up for a Booksellers’ Best award. I’m happy. I have a bunch of book signings coming up, so keep an eye on the “upcoming appearances” page.

On a personal note, yesterday was my very last day at The FAIR School Downtown, where I’ve been teaching for the past 12 years. I’ll be teaching in the MPS school district this coming fall. Yesterday was filled with emotional upheaval and bittersweet memories. I will miss the students, families and teachers.

I’m wishing all of you a peaceful and joy-filled summer! Happy Reading,

Barbara
